Ifo Local Government: Hon. Delano Assures the people Adequate Security

The Executive Chairman of Ifo Local Government, Hon. Kikelomo Delano has assured the people of the council area of adequate security of lives and properties.

Delano gave this assurance, during the Peace and Security meeting held at the Local Government Secretariat conference room.

She said the Security meeting is to find a lasting solution to the menace of kidnapping, cultism, hooliganism, robbery and other social vices that are prevalent in the Area, which has been giving the entire Council Area and environ sleepless nights.

The Council Chairman also promised that, the Local Government will work together in cooperation with the Security agencies, Community Leaders and Religion Leaders to ensure  that Peace, Law and Order are kept and maintained in the Council Area.

Speaking at the event, the Oloofin of Isheri, HRH, Oba Sulaimon Bamgbade, appreciated the executive chairman for rubbing minds with all Stakeholders on Security, on the way forward to move the Security of the Local government to the next level.

He enjoined the Chairman to provide the necessary tools for all the Security agencies in the Area, “because all hands must be on deck to find solutions to the risen cases of insecurity” Kabiyesi said.

The Head of Local Administration, HOLGA, Mrs Taiwo Akintomide, appreciated all the Security agencies, Community Leaders, Youth Leaders, Religion Leaders and thanked them for coming.

She disclosed that the meeting may be quarterly or annual event which will have all the stakeholders coming together to find out ways of eradicating criminality in the Area.
