IJEBU ODE LG. BOSS TASKS STAKEHOLDERS ON COVID-19 VACCINATION

The Executive Chairman, Ijebu ode local Government, Hon. (Alhaji ) Babatunde Emilola Gazal has hosted emergency stakeholders meetings towards mass Covid-19 vaccination in the Council Area.
This was the first of its kind after he emerges as the Chairman of the Council. He appreciated the efforts of the state governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun in tackling the menace of COVID-19 in the state.
The Council Boss charged the Stakeholders to always appreciate all efforts by the state government towards the well being of the people.
Hon. Gazal also made a phone call through to the honourable state commissioner of Health, Dr Tomi Coker during the event and she appealed to everybody in the state to take COVID-19 injection.
“It would be recalled that, Ogun state recorded lowest death records in the country and there is need to keep the record through the vaccination of our people and the targeted 20,000 populace to be covered within two weeks” she added.
The Council Chairman, therefore, stressed that, it is important to consult our paramount rulers, political class, market men and women to help the government reach out to our people in other to be vaccinated.
While speaking, the Council resident doctor, Dr Fayomi Omotola explained to the people the importance of the three phases of the vaccine and those who are eligible to be vaccinated.
The events held at the millennium hall, ijebu-ode Local Government secretariat on, 23rd January, 2022, had in attendance; Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon Adesola Ogundare; council of Oloritun’s, counsellors and Iyalaje General of ijebuland, Chief(Mrs) Akorede Alatishe.
