Ijebu-Ode LG Chairman, Swears-in SLG, other Political Appointees

The Executive Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Babatunde Emilola GAZAL has officially inaugurated his cabinet members, who will be running the affairs of the council with him for the next two and a half years.
The Council Boss disclosed that, it is not by sheer coincidence that the appointees were selected among other qualified party members, but it is divinely ordained by Allah.
He therefore urged them not to allow any form of disappointment by trivializing the unique opportunity in giving quality service to the people.
He appreciated His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State, for his untiring efforts at building a state that conform with the vision of the founding fathers in Ogun State.
” Let me say here that the Giant strides taken by this administration in Ogun State has yeilded a remarkable results that can not be denied even by the people in opposition”, said Alhaji Gazal.
He also thanked the people of Ijebu Ode Council Area for believing in his administration, since assumption of office as the Executive chairman in the Council Area.
He further charged the newly sworn-in appointees to imbibe the spirit of teamwork and oneness in other to achieve something meaningful.
“As members of political class, we must always be conscious of our responsibilities to the people we represent, knowing fully well, we shall one day, stand before throne of judgement to give account of our stewardship before the creator” Chairman said.
The Council Boss implored the people to pay their dues, rates and levies to the coffers of the council, as it will enhance the government to provide basic amenities like; grading of roads, clearing of drainages, disposal of waste and other yearnings of the indigenes in the Council Area.
He therefore reiterated the commitment of his administration in bringing relief to all markets men and women, and Oke Aje market in particular.
Earlier, Mr. Oluseye Soyoye, Director, General Services and Administration administered the Oath of Allegiance to the newly sworn-in appointees, witnessed by dignitaries from the area.
The newly sworn- in appointees are: Hon. Sunday Bolaji Joseph Adesanya, (SBJ) as secretary to Local Government. Supervisors; Hon Gbayi Oshifeso, Hon. Bunmi Okunowo, Deacon Johnson Adeleke Agbolade and Mr. Tobi Kehinde Tiamiyu; Special Advisers: Mrs. Iyabo Kuku, Mr. Fatai Kukoyi and Mr.Wasiu Quadri. Consultant; Mr Olalekan Moruf Adeboyejo and Mrs. Rasheedat Balogun.
While expressing his gratitude on behalf of other appointees, the newly sworn-in Secretary to Local Government, Hon S.B.J Adesanya, promised that, they will discharge their duties in line with the lay down regulations guiding their offices.
Dignitaries at the occasion included, Tp. Tunji Odunlami, Commissioner for physical planning; Aree Kemi Oduwole, Member, Ogun state House of Assembly; Barr. Femi Ogunbamowo, Commissioner for Special Duties; Chief Olu Okuboyejo, Chairman, Elders Advisory Council, Ogun State; Chief Bisi Rodipe, Chief Degun and Chief Oduntan, Hon. Adeshola Saula Ogundare, Leader of the Legislative House and other Councillors; Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Dapo Banjo and other Directors amongst others.
