Ijebu Ode LG Lawmakers Drum Support for BOO – Aspirant for Ijebu-Ode State Constituency in the forthcoming House of Assembly Election

The ninth Legislative Council of Ijebu-Ode Local government, under the leadership of Hon. Adesola Ogundare had thrown their full supports behind the All Progressive Congress aspirant vying for Ijebu-Ode State Constituency for Ogun State House of Assembly,  Hon. Bakare Omolola Olanrewaju, BOO.

Hon. Bakare is the first woman in the anal history of Ijebu-Ode Local government, vying for this exalted office since its creation in 1976.

Hon. Bakare has involved in grassroots politics for a long while, before showing interest to vie for the post. She has supported several developmental strides and initiated a lot of empowerment programmes for the upliftment and self-reliance of the women folks in Ijebu-Ode and its environs.

Arising from her profile and previous participations, the ninth Legislative Council had deemed it fit to support her aspiration to emerging the winner at the forthcoming House of Assembly Elections.

While speaking at the venue of the meeting at BOO Campaign Office in Aiyegbami Street, Ijebu-Ode, Hon. Ogundare assured the aspirant, Hon. Bakare Omolola Olanrewaju (a. k. a BOO) that all members of the Legislative Council are solidly behind her and they are going to work assiduously to ensure her victory at the polls on Saturday, 11th March, 2023.

Speaking further at the gathering, Hon. Ogundare presented a cheque on behalf of other members of the Legislative Council to support and ascertain their financial contributions towards the success and victory of their party aspirant.

In his own speech, the APC Party Chairman, Prince Adekunle Aranmolate, appreciated and thanked the lawmakers for their unflinching support, thoughtfulness, humane and kind gestures at ensuring that the Party aspirant wins at the polls.

He stated further,  that this action would never be forgetting and it shall be duly reciprocated as soon as the Party aspirant emerges and declare the winner of the election.

The APC Party aspirant, Hon. Bakare Omolola Olanrewaju, BOO, who was marvelled at the presentation of the cheque, commended the lawmakers for this uncommon feat and bold step by assisting her to achieve her aspiration.

She stated that, she really acknowledged all the supports and assistance that the Councillors had been rendering at their various political wards and gave an assurance to all and sundries present at the venue that she would work tirelessly to improve on the full and quality representation at the State House of Assembly and will bring back more and more dividends of democracy to Ijebu-Ode and its environs.

Among those who were in attendance at the gathering are; the Party Chairman, Prince Adekunle Aranmolate, Director-General of BOO Campaign Group, Alhaji Ladi Lekuti; the Party Senatorial Public Relations Officer, Mr. Tolu Odubiyi; the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Adesola Ogundare, other Legislative Members, and host of other political stakeholders in Ijebu-Ode.
