Ijebu-ode LG Nulge Excos Commissions Newly Built Secretariat

The newly built NULGE building has been commissioned today, August 4th, 2022, by the Chairman, Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, LGSC, Barrister Olivia Oluwabukunola Onabanjo.

The building project, which foundation was laid in 2010 during the administration of Hon. Mufutau Oseni,  the former Executive Chairman, who voluntarily allocated the portion of land to the branch executives.

However due to paucity of funds the building project suffered a lot of setbacks which delayed its completion.

The building project later got a desirable attention of the current NULGE administration ably led by Comrade Tosin Kuku as the Branch Chairman.

The Chairman of the occasion, Barrister Olivia Oluwabukunola Onabanjo in her welcoming speech, appreciated and thanked the NULGE Chairman, Comrade Tosin Kuku for his doggedness, foresightedness, courage, initiatives and being optimistic to spearhead the completion of the laudable project, despite the paucity of funds to accomplished this herculean task.

She further stressed that every NULGE Excos should take good lessons and clues from the leadership skills and style of Comrade Kuku.

In his own remarks, Alhaji Babatunde Emilola-Gazal, the Executive Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government,  congratulated the NULGE Excos under the able leadership of Com. Tosin Kuku for the speedy completion of the NULGE Secretariat at this period that the whole State is experiencing scarce and dwindling resources in her socio- economic development.

The Council Boss eulogized Comrade Kuku for his zeal to get the project done within a good record of time, he also promised that, as soon as the finances of the Local Government improves, he would ensure prompt welfare of staff, making the working conditions more productive for everyone to discharge his or her service without any impediment or hindrance.

The Commissioning ceremony was graced by eminent personalities who were in attendance during the unveiling of the plaque and was witnessed by the Executive Chairman of Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Babatunde Emilola-Gazal; His Royal Highness, Oba Munirudeen Adeposi Bashorun, the Orugbogbo of Imoru Ijebu; Alhaji Abdulrasheed Adenusi, Chairman, ACO Estates; Hon. Sulaiman Oduwole Governor Liaison Officer to the Local Government; Otunba Adebayo Odunnowo, Otunba Lamidi, Hon. Adesola Ogundare, Leader of the Legislative Council;
