IJEBU ODE LG: OHANEZE NDIGBO VISIT COUNCIL BOSS, PLEDGES TOTAL SUPPORT

The Executive Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Alhaji Babatunde Emilola GAZAL has reteirated is commitment in clearing oke Aje market road, during the first visit of Igbo community to his office in Itoro, since inception of his administration in July, 2021.

The Council Boss, appreciated the delegation for identifying with his administration.

He therefore, thanked the Babaloja of Oba S.K. Adetona Market, Chief Joseph Nwauzu, for the role played during the working visit of the Council Boss to the market.

He further charged the Ohaneze ndigbo to remain committed and supportive to the Prince Dapo Abiodun led Administration in Ogun state.

“I want to appreciate the cooperation displayed by the Igbo community in Ijebu Ode and Ogun State by extension during the last election” said Emilola.

The Council Boss, thereafter broke the kolanut brought by the group as a sign of Peace and Love, according to Igbo cultural beliefs.

Earlier, Chief James Nnironi, Eziokwu Da Osimiri, in his good will message, pledged the loyalty and support of Igbo community in Ijebu Ode to the government at all times.

In the same vein, Eze Austine M. Onwuanaku, Ezendigbo of Ijebu Ode LGA; promised to maintain a cordial relationship with the Council “as it’s been our usual practice in the past and we will not give anything less” he said.

In attendance at the meeting are: Mrs Balogun Olabisi, Special Adviser to the Chairman; Mr Adeleke Adesanwo, Personal Assistant to the Chairman amongst other dignitaries.
