IKENNE COUNCIL BOSS CELEBRATES 14 DAYS IN OFFICE, COMMISSION MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

The Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government, Hon Olusegun Ogunleye, sworn-in on Monday, 26th July, 2021 as the newly elected Chairman had been witnessing one activity after the other.

The Chairman and his entourage had conducted a spot check of all the offices in the Local Government Secretariat to see what could be done to improve the working environment of the workforce.

This intention was further confirmed firstly at the meeting with the Head of Local Government Administration and Head of Departments of the Local Government and later at the meeting with the staff of the Local Government.

The Chairman and his team commissioned the Health Center Equipments donated by Ilisan Development Association ( United Kingdom Chapter) on Friday, 30th July, 2021 and promised to develop the Medical Health Section of the Council.

Hon. Ogunleye also made a Courtesy visit to His Royal Highnesses, HRH Oba Onakade Adeyinka, Alakenne of Ikenne; HRH Oba Odunayo Oludotun of Idotun; HRH Oba Michael Mojeed Olufemi Sonuga, Olofin of Ilisan Remo and HRH Oba Sikiru Ajibowu Adeyiga, Onirolu of Irolu on Thursday, 5th August, 2021.

During his visits, the Chairman appreciated the Kabiyesis and the Chiefs for their support during the election and the victory attained as the newly elected Chairman. He promised that he would try in his own capacity to see to those challenges highlighted by the Obas for better development in the Local Government Area.

He however reteriated  that his administration will deliver Dividends of Democracy to the people at the grassroot level with the help and support of the Obas and their Chiefs.
