IKENNE LG HOLGA, ENGR. OGUNBONA, COUNSELS STAFF ON DILIGENCE AT WORK

The Head of Local Government Administration, HOLGA, Ikenne Local Government, Engr. Olanike OGUNBONA has counselled the Local Government Staff to be diligent in their duties.

She gave the counsel while speaking during a congress of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ikenne Local Government Branch, held at the Local Government Secretariat, Ikenne, on Tuesday, 26th October, 2021.

Engineer Ogunbona, enjoined the employees to always take their jobs serious, come to the office punctually and regularly, and be diligent in their various schedules.

She congratulated the Union Executive on their victory at the recently held Branch election, commending the hitch-free exercise.

She also appreciated the Council’s Pastor and Imam, for the restoration of morning devotion in the Secretariat, describing prayer as an essential tool for development, as he urged all employees to work towards making Ikenne, the best among the comity of local governments in the state.

Earlier in his address, the newly elected Branch Chairman, NULGE, Ikenne Local Government, Comrade Ola Babatunde, assured the HOLGA of cooperation and support of the entire workforce of the local government.

He expressed the appreciation of the NULGE Executives to the members, for their support during the election.

Issues bordering on general staff welfare were also discussed at the congress.
