
IKENNE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACTING HOLGA, EGNR. OGUNBONA ENCOURAGES ALL STAFF TO BE OF GOOD CONDUCT

The Acting Head of Local Government Administration, Ikenne Local Government, Engr (Mrs) Olanike Ogunbona has charged the Local Government employees to be of good conduct.
She gave the charge while speaking during a familiarisation meeting held with the staff of Ikenne Local Government at the Local Government Secretariat Hall on Wednesday, 25th August,2021.
The Acting HOLGA encouraged the workers to be more committed in their duties, stressing the use of official language during office hours, which is English Language must be encouraged, and that they should abstain from lateness, absenteeism and indecent dressing.
Engineer Ogunbona said, in line with the Local Government Service Commission directive on Human Capital Development, she assured the staff, of plans to commence the training and retraining of all the staff, which would be on departmental and non- departmental basis, to enhance their productivity.
She also promised to provide a conducive environment and good working relationship for the staff, and stated that motorcyclists (okada riders) should not be allowed into the Local Government premises for security purpose and all staff should cooperate with the security men to achieve good result on this.
The Caretaker Chairman, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ikenne Local Government branch, Comrade R.A Mosudi, appreciated and assured the Acting HOLGA of the cooperation and support of the entire workforce of the Local Government.
