
INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY: Majekodunmi Advocates For Peaceful Cohesion In ASLG

The Executive Chairman Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi has encouraged the dwellers of the Local Government Area, to in time concede and yield to harmonious living with one another without any political or religious differences.
Speaking in his office, at the Local Government Secretariat, Ake, Hon. Majekodunmi enjoined the dwellers in the Communities of the Area, that the residents should maintain and sustain the peaceful atmosphere in the Local Government, State and Nigeria respectively.
He advised them to be patriotic in dealing with each other and not to Advocate for war because of the flimsy and selfish interests of some people.
“If we are truly longing for growth, there must be peace as peaceful coexistence is key to our survival as a Nation”, he said.
The Council Boss further urged the dwellers in the Area to be consistent in their good dispositions and to work tirelessly to sustain and improve on the existing peace enjoyed in the Area,aa adding that, the progress of the Local Government Area is the only path to justify the confidence reposed in his Administration.
