IOLG BOSS EMILOLA GAZAL WARNS TRADERS AGAINST DISPLAY OF WARES ON THE ROAD

The Executive Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government , Alhaji Babatunde Emilola GAZAL, today embarked on a sensitization visit to Oba S.K Adetona market, Oke Aje, Ijebu ode area.

The Council Boss, appealed to the Traders in the market to desist from displaying their wares on the access roads leading to the market.

He, therefore implored them to make use of the yet occupied shops located in the market.

He further emphasized  the danger in selling by the roadside, incase there is any brake failure of vehicles

Hon Emilola, thereafter appealed to the traders not to remove the signposts erected by the Council for market users to know the boundary at which they can display their Wares.

He urged the shop owners to always patronise the service of Ogun State Waste Management Agency (OGWAMA) for proper waste disposal.

During the Chairman’s visit to  Epe Motor Park, he addressed the yearnings of motorist, promised some palliative works on the road to boost the transportation business in the area.

He further charged them to always remit their tenement rate to the Council and maintain clean environment at all time.

In the Council Boss entourage are, Iyalaje General, Ijebu Land, Chief Mrs Akorede Alatishe; Iyaloja and Babaloja, Oke Aje market, Chief Mrs Wuraola Ikuforiji and Chief Joseph Nwauzu respectively amongst others.
