IPOKIA L.G: ONIKOYI MARKS BIRTHDAY IN GRAND STYLES

Ipokia Local Government helmsman, Hon. Agbetokun Olawale Wasiu (ONIKOYI) has marked his Golden Jubilee Birthday in grand styles. The ceremony which took place today, Tuesday, 16th January, 2024, commenced with prayers by Muslim Clerics at his house at an early hours of the day, was graced by both Political functionaries and Career officers.
Speaking during the get together at the council Secretariat, Hon. Abgetokun said that, he is overwhelmed with the turning of the people at the occasion. He also expressed appreciation to all and sundary for gracing the occasion and was full of gratitude to Almighty Allah for sparing his life to witness another birthday celebration.
ONIKOYI, disclosed that his administration has executed various projects across the twelve wards of the Council Area. He also lauded the Executives and the Legislative Council for maintaining cordial relationship with him.
In his good will massage at the occasion, the Onipokia of Ipokia kingdom, HRM, Alayeluwa Oba (Doctor) Yisa Olushola Olaniyan commended Hon. Agbetokun for his exceptional performances, which he attributed to the large turn out of the people at the event.
The Monarch then prayed for long life and prosperity for the celebrant and everyone present. He also charged the celebrant not to relent in embarking on more developmental projects in the Local Government Area.
Other well wishes are; Mr. Dawanu Moses, from United Kingdom; the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Zangode Ezekiel; Consultant on Chieftaincy Matters, Alhaji Nofiu Babatunde; Treasurer, Alhaja Kadijat Adetimehin; Chairman, Natioal Youth Council (Ipokia LG Chapter), Com. Yusuf Ridwanullahi and Ipokia LG NULGE Chairman, Com. Daniel Sesede Towakenu, jointly prayed and wished the celebrant good things of life.
The high point of the event was the cutting of the Birthday Cake by the celebrant to the delight of the audience. The celebrant, Hon. Agbetokun was also presented with various birthday gifts.
The well organized birthday party was attended by the Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom, HRM, Oba (Dr) Yisa Olushola Olaniyan; Mr Dawanu Moses, Vice Chairman to the LG; Hon. Makanjuola James Sewenu, the Secretary to the LG; Hon. Chief Mrs Mary Yemi Bamgboye, the Leader of the Legislative Council; Hon. Zangode Ezekiel and other eleven ward Councillors. Others are Supervisors of various departments and Special Advisers; Acting Head of Local government Administration, Sanitarian, Olatunji Olusegun Jelili; Directors and HODs equally graced the ceremony.
