LADI BALA FLAG-OFF CAMPAIGN MASSIVELY DREW JOURNALISTS FROM ACROSS NIGERIA

The official FLAG-OFF CAMPAIGN of LADI BALA took place today at the FCT NUJ Council. The event attracted great turnout of journalists of note and worth, who came out to identify and give their unwavering support to the Conqueror, the Visioner, the Champion, a Great Leader of NAWOJ – LADI BALA.

The Chairperson of Plateau State and National Coordinator of LADI BALA Campaigns, Nene Dung, who represented the DG Campaign, expressed appreciation to journalists that attended the event and with resolve to stand for truth, growth and development of NAWOJ with the understanding that Ladi Bala has proven beyond reasonable doubts to be an exceptional leader with the Midas Touch. Mrs Dung therefore, advised all NAWOJians to vote for Ladi Bala as NATIONAL PRESIDENT of NAWOJ.

According to a statement signed by  Rebecca Bolanle Ukpevo,
S.A to the National President of NAWOJ, Ladi Bala, the incumbent NAWOJ President, who is seeking for reelection for another term of office, while unfolding her future plans assured that she will pursue and ensure the building of NAWOJ National Secretariat on the newly acquired land; Creation of NAWOJ HERVOICE Radio Station to be managed and operated mostly by NAWOJians; Training programmes and many more across the country.

Former NAWOJ Presidents that included, Chief Mrs Moji Makanjuola, Mrs Kande Daniel and Mrs Evelyn Onyilo as well as the FCT NUJ Chairman Emeritus, Amos Dunia cast the weight of their support behind Ladi Bala. The media veterans pleaded and advised Ladi Bala to shun naysayers but, should remain focused to keep taking NAWOJ to greater heights.

Contestants from different States were in attendance. They included; the incoming DEPUTY NATIONAL PRESIDENT – Folake Adeniji; NATIONAL SECRETARY – Helen Udofa; VICE PRESIDENT ZONE D – Irene Onehi; Chizoba Ogbeche, ZONE D ZONAL SECRETARY – Juliana Ofoku, NATIONAL INTERNAL AUDITOR – Joyce Haruna and Chairpersons from various States in addition to other quintessential journalists.
