The Chairmanship Candidate for Odeda Local Government, Alhaja (Hon) Folasade Adeyemo-Soyinka-Olowolagba has solicited for synergy between her and all Party Stakeholders to actualized  victory for APC  in the forth coming Local Government Election in Ogun State

“Let’s work together for victory of APC in Odeda Local Government” she stressed

Hon Soyinka- Olowolagba made this statement, while expressing her  profound gratitude to stakeholders and leaders in both the Local Government and the State for supporting her candidacy in the recently concluded primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun state.

She said, “I am overjoyed yet humbled at the confidence reposed in me by the stakeholders and leaders to fly the flag of our party in next chairmanship election coming up in july 24 2021”

She maintained that, her joy stem not just from her victory, but also from the fact that the Party has demonstrated that intra-party democracy can indeed be entrenched through successful Primaries.

She also humbly thanked the Governor of Ogun state, Omoluwabi Pataki, Prince Dapo Abiodun; the Deputy Governor, Engr Noimat Salako-Oyedele; Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Shuaib Salisu; State Chairman of APC, Chief Yemi Sanusi; Senator Obadara, Hon. Daisi Elemide , Pastor Fajimi, Lawyer Taiwo , Chief Yusuf, Hon. Semiu Bola Lawal, all the great leaders of APC in the State, Local Government, Ward level and good people of Odeda Local Government.

“I emerged as nothing but  as the symbol and the servant of our collective struggle for the continued progressive transformation and radical modernisation our dear Odeda local government” she said

Adding that, the position of Local Government Chairman is not one of pleasure or one that affords the opportunity for limitless glamour. It is one that demands the highest degree of discipline, dedication, industry, commitment and sense of purpose.

“I take this as a call to serve and defend the good people of Odeda Local Government and I’m using this appreciation message to pledge my 100 percent commitment to the development of the Gateway State.

“This victory is for all the aspirants and our great party, a call to collectively take our dear local government to another greater heights” She said.

She disclosed that, in a democracy, it is not possible that everybody would support you during primaries but she respects the opinion of those who were not persuaded about her candidacy and enjoined  every member of the Party to come together as one and work hard for victory at the general election.

She also reiterated her commitment to the mandate given her, as a sacred trust, which she promised to  respect and value every minute, every hour and every day.

She therefore, prayed that, on the path of progress, peace and prosperity, Odeda Local Government shall never fail nor falter under the banner of our great party and so help us God.
