Man United in a Dramatic Come Back Against Ten Man Forest at Trafford

Manchester United after surprisingly conceding two quick goals in the opening four minutes came back to beat Ten man Nottingham Forest by 3-2 at the Theatre of dream.

Nigerian International, Taiwo Awoniyi and Willy Boly stunned the host with astonishing goals to send shivers down the United fans’ spine.

The Red devil jolted by the early scare, came out strongly but Steve Cooper’s side looked impenetrable until in the 17th minute when a pass from Marcus Rashford found Christian Erickson who flicked home a goal to reduce the tally.

At the resumption of the second half, Manchester United continued pilling pressure on Nottingham Forest defence line and it paid off in the 52nd minute with an equalizer from Casemiro, following a clever free kick.

Thereafter, it was United all the way, searching desperately for the winning goal until Marcus Rashford won a penalty after skipping past Danilo and was brought down. The resultant penalty was neatly converted by United skipper, Bruno Fernandes to seal for the Erik Ten Hag’s side.

Meanwhile, the Mikel Arteta’s side was held to a score draw by Ten man Fulham at Emirate.

Against all odds, the Cottagers caught Arsenal unaware, scoring the opener as early as 1st minute through Andreas Pereira after Bukayo Saka’s pass meant for Aaron Ramsdale was intercepted.

However, Bukayo Saka restored the parity via a penalty kick in the 70th minute.

Barely two minutes later, Eddie Nketiah fired past Bernd Leno to increase the tally to two goals to one in favour of the Mikel Arteta’s side.

The goal that broke the camel’s back came in the 87th minute courtesy of Joao Palhinha to end the thrilling encounter in a 2-2 draw to the disappointment of the Arsenal fans.
