MAN UNITED SAVOURS VICTORY AFTER STOPPAGE-TIME PENALTY SAVE BY DE GEA

It was a sweet victory for Manchester United at London Stadium, the home ground of West Ham United with 89th minute back breaking second goal by Jesse Lingard , the England International who was on loan with West Ham last season.
The Hammer as West Ham fondly called, had earlier in the first half recorded a goal against the Red Devils but only for Cristiano Ronaldo to cancel out the goal in the 35th minute.
Mark Noble bemoans his inability to convert the resultant penalty to level up against Manchester United.
However, what could have turned out to be saving grace for West Ham United was a stoppage time penalty awarded to the home side, taken by by 34 yrs old Mark Noble who is a spot-kick expert with the record of scoring 27 out of 31 previous attempts in the premier league had his kick parried by David de Gea to ensure United all time unbeaten run away from home now stands at 29 league games.
Else where in North London, the European Champions, Chelsea in a London derby cruised over Tottenham by 3 goals to nothing with goals from the boots of Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante and Antonio Rudiger.

A well deserved but narrow win for Manchester united. I feel sorry for Mark Noble though.
