Mudashiru Commends Teachers’ Role In Building Future Leaders

The Executive Chairman of Ogun Waterside Local Government, Hon Mudashiru Adekunle has commended teachers in the Local Government Area for their dedication to service and commitment to building future leaders.

Mudashiru gave the commendation when he played host to the leadership of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Ogun Waterside Local Government branch recently.

The visit was to familiarize the Executive members of the Union with Ogun Waterside Local Government chairman and his team.

Speaking on behalf of the Executive members, Comrade Olalekan Ibrahim, Chairman NUT Ogun Waterside branch used the opportunity to appeal to the Council Chairman to consider members of NUT to be Supervisor for Education and Education Secretary.

The Council Boss in his response, welcome the Union leaders and urged them, as the mother of all professions, to continue to contribute to the development of education in Ogun Waterside Local Government.

He assured the Union leaders that every necessary steps will be taken to ensure that Ogun Waterside have more teachers.
