National ALGON Representatives, Visit Projects in Ijebu Ode, Assures Timely Completion

The Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, Ogun State, Ahaji Babatunde Emilola GAZAL who is also the Executive Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government led the delegates from the National ALGON Secretariat, Abuja on an inspection tour to a yet completed Health center in Ita Oyinbo, Igbeba road, Ijebu Ode.
The Council Boss said the reason for the visit is to correct some missing fact in the record of the secretariat in regards to some projects being executed in the Primary Health Care Department in some local governments in Ogun state.
” During ALGON meeting held in Lagos, I heard that Ijebu Ode was not in the record of beneficiary of the National ALGON Projects, which to my knowledge, we have one and for some reasons bordered on litigation, is yet completed” said Alhaji Gazal.
Hon. Dapo Odunsi, Executive Chairman, Remo North, Isara, gave an insight about other benefited local governments of such projects, which includes, Abeokuta South, Ake; Abeokuta North, Akomoje, amongst other sisters Local Government in the state.
The Leader of the delegation, Chief Lamuren Dimeji, appreciated the ALGON in Ogun state for their hospitality accorded him and his team.
He therefore said the purpose of the projects is to help developed the grassroots Health Care program.
He further promised that all the difficulties surrounding the projects shall be address appropriately.
” Let me say that if it requires Presidency to mediate in solving the litigation matters on this projects, we will do it”.
” The Contractor of these Projects will be contacted and the projects will be completed”, said Chief Lamuren.

Others from Ijebu- ode Local government are: Mr Dapo Banjo, Head of Local Government Administration; Dr Fayomi, Primary health Care department; Mrs. Akinsola, Director, Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation, department; Mrs Taiwo Osundero Oke, Head of Information, Education and Sports, department amongst others.
