NUJ Ekiti State Council Celebrates Governor Fayemi, All Journalists Across The Country

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Ekiti State Council celebrates all journalists across the country particularly those working in Ekiti State on the celebration of this year’s independence anniversary and the 25th year of creation of Ekiti State.

There is no doubt that journalists were major actors in the agitation for the independence of Nigeria and creation of Ekiti State.

Many years down the line, journalists have remained a propeller in the growth and development of our dear nation and state, hence we deserve to be celebrated.

We may not have reached our Jerusalem but certainly both Nigeria and Ekiti have moved out of Egypt and we strongly believe in a greater Nigeria and Ekiti of our dream.

While congratulating the government and people of Nigeria, the Union wishes to seek for better welfare packages and insurance policy for Journalists in view of their sacrifices for a better society.

We also congratulate, Governor Kayode Fayemi on the celebration of his third anniversary in office wishing him more success.
