Nulge Ewekoro Celebrates Hon Adesina @ 52 with Fun fare

.…..as the Council boss promises workers more goodies, bigger Christmas bonus and half a million naira for the end of the year party.
Ewekoro Local Government Secretariat, Itori was agog as the Nigeria Union Of Government Employees, NULGE, Ewekoro branch, ably led by comrade Abdulsalam Ibrahim organized a grand birthday party for the executive chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa who clocked 52 years.
The highly elated workers trooped out of their offices to celebrate workers’ friendly chairman, whom they described as wonderful, humility personified, loving and caring.
Speaking at the surprised event, the delightful chairman could not hide his feelings as he appreciated the head of local government administration, Engr. Ayoola A.A. and the entire management team for the unflinching support and cooperation being enjoyed by his administration.
” I appreciate this set of management team I am working with, we always agree and never disagree. This not the first time am saying this publicly, I did the same when the members of the Ogun state local government service commission visited our local government. Honestly, you are all wonderful people”the council boss stated with enthusiasm.
While appreciating the Nulge chairman, comrade Abdulsalam Ibrahim, the Council Boss, described him as reasonable and unselfish, somebody who has in mind, nothing but pure welfare of staff and a man of very exemplary leadership.
“I like Nulge chairman style, not violent in nature and always acquaint me with workers challenges” he said.
Hon Adesina disclosed to the delight of the members of staff that his administration would pay bigger and appreciable Christmas bonus this year and explained further that, he was the first council chairman in Ogun State to pay Christmas bonus last year, before other chairmen followed suit.
“The moment other chairmen heard that, I paid Christmas bonus, they started asking, how did you do it, including local governments that are buoyant than Ewekoro. Having been in government on three occasions, I have the little experience and it has been a familiar terrain, so to say, while welfare package for staff, has been one of the priorities in my agenda, though, it is not easy but I thank the management team that always find ways of making it possible, despite the precarious financial situation” the chairman declared.
Hon Adesina, equally revealed that half a million naira had been approved and would soon be released for the end of the year party for the staff.
His words,” I hope the Nulge chairman has informed you that the management has approved half a million naira for the award and end of the year party, I will also look into how we can pay disturbance allowance for some members of staff that are yet to get their own”.
While speaking, the head of local government administration, Engr. Ayoade, described, Hon Adesina as the best amongst all the chairmen.
“Our chairman is incomparable with others, he is simply fantastic” Engr Ayoade stated emphatically.
Comrade Abdulsalam Ibrahim, the Nulge chairman, Ewekoro branch, who was short of words as a result of being overwhelmed by the undiluted love and welfare package of the chairman for the council workers, expressed his gratitude to Hon Adesina whom he said deserved National honour.
However, like an Oliver twist, comrade Abdulsalam, urged the chairman not to relent but continue to do more for his people, with the prayer that God would continue to strengthen him to do more as he continue taking care of the people of the council area and moving Ewekoro local government to greater heights with the aim of making it best among the comity of Local governments in Nigeria.
Giving vote of thanks, Comrade Fatai Akiode, Nulge state young worker representative, on behalf of the Nulge state president, Comrade Ayuba Olatunji, thanked the executive chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, for an outstanding performance, and second to none welfare package for Ewekoro local government workers .
“Honestly, I have worked with so many chairmen since joining the service, but Hon Adesina has beaten my imagination beyond doubt. May the Almighty God return your good deeds in many folds, sir” comrade Akiode commended.
The celebrant was later presented with the gift, by the head of local government administration, Engr. Ayoade Anthony, on behalf of himself and other heads of departments, while individuals, equally showered gifts on the council boss.
The highpoint of the ceremony was the cutting of the birthday cake by the celebrant to commemorate the event with the band boys fully on ground to add colour to the grand birthday ceremony.
