OBAFEMI-OWODE LG: ABEOKUTA CORAL LIONS CLUB COMMENDS COUNCIL CHAIRMAN ON GOOD HUMANITARIAN SERVICES .

The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode local government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina has called on Clubs and other groups in the Area and it’s environs to continue to assist the government in its bid for transforming the Local Government in their selfless services rendered to the people
Ambassador Ogunsola made the appeal while receiving officers and members of Abeokuta Coral Lion’s Club in his office on Friday.
He said the government is about the people, and Clubs like Abeokuta Coral Lion’s Club is one of the respected social clubs that has impacted positively on the people through its various intervention projects to reduce poverty and make lives bearable to the people.
Ambassador Ogunsola solicited for their advice and prayers always, while promising to use his good office as the Executive Chairman, and one of the foundation members of this great club to invite other prominent sons and daughters of the Council Area both home and abroad to come and join the club.

Abeokuta Coral lions club while on visit to the Chairman, appreciated the Council Boss for his humanitarian services describing him as a good humanitarian based on his people oriented policies.
Earlier in his speech, the President of the Club, Lion Ajayi Temidire used the occasion to congratulate the Council Boss on his victory at the last local government elections and advised him to emulate the good gesture of His excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR Governor of Ogun state in transforming the local government to a greater heights.
He urged the Council Boss to perform beyond expectations by embarking on good infrastructural projects to change the looks of the local government and it’s environs.
According to the President of the Club, ”Ambassador Ogunsola is a very principled, dedicated and always ready to pursue his set goals and visions, this we have seen in you as an individual, within two months you assumed office, you have embarked on the renovation of the local government secretariat complex, and other people oriented projects”.
Ambassador Ogunsola further stated that as soon as the rain subsided in October, the local government will commence grading of roads across the Area, in fulfillment of the promised made during his electioneering campaign.

While presenting the local government Chairman a token gift on behalf of the CLUB, the assistant secretary of Abeokuta Coral Lion’s Club, Lion Omolola oyelude appreciated the Chairman for being the brain behind the Club and promised to partner with the Local Government in bringing developmental projects to the Council Area, so that the people will benefit from their selfless service.
He then urged the Chairman that being one of the foundation member of the Club, he should always spare time to answer their call.
