OBAFEMI OWODE LG BOSS APPLAUDS NATIONAL POPULATION COMMISSION ON HISTORICAL EVENTS

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Hon. Ambassador, Adesina Ogunsola, has applauded the National Population Commission team from Abuja, for deeming it fit, despite their tight schedules, in making a comprehensive research on the historical events in the past hundred years, in OBAFEMI Owode Local Government.

The Chairman, made this commendation in his office, while addressing the team, he said, the calibre of people that were selected from the Local Government to work with the National Population Commission team comprises of religious leaders, elderly people and royal father’s respectively.

Hon.Ogunsola, also the assured the team, that adequate preparations and hospitalities will equally be made available throughout the 2022 Censors enumeration exercise.

The National Population Commission, NPC, team, led by Mr Tunde Shitu, the Deputy Director, Planning and Research; Mr Kuye Razaq, Comptroller Obafemi Owode Local Government and other NPC Crew.

The people selected for the provision of the Historical background were: the Vice Chairman, Obafemi Owode LG, Hon. Titus Olusesi, Leader of the Legislative House, OOLG, Hon. Kayode Akinsola; the Olu of Owode, HRM Oba Kolawole Aremu Sowemimo; Chief Idowu Olude, APC Party Chairman, Obafemi Owode LG and other dignitaries in the Local Government Area.
