Obafemi-Owode LG. Chairman, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina, Visits Ibafo, Magboro, Promises Road Repairs to Ease Traffic

As part of his efforts to ensure free flow of traffic on roads in Obafemi-Owode Local Government, the council chairman, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina, on Thursday, 3rd August, 2023, visited Ibafo and Magboro markets.

The council chairman during his inspection tour to the markets, expressed satisfaction over the compliance of the market men and women to all environmental health directives and payment of market dues.

Ogunsola also commended the market men and women for obeying the laid down directives, adding that it will help them a lot.

The council chairman later made a courtesy visit to the Divisional Police Officer in Ibafo, CSP Kazeem Solotan, promising  to support them with logistics in curbing criminality  in the community.

While inspecting Ibafo and  Mogboro roads, the Council Boss promised  to provide palliatives on the roads, adding that, after the rainy season, a lasting solution will be made in order to make the roads motorable for the people, which will invariably improve their economic situations in the area.

The CDC Chairman of Magboro, Mr Sina Olukoga appreciated the council chairman for his visit, saying that, he came at the right time.

Speaking at the event, the Olu of Ibafo, His Royal Highness, Oba Alayande Alabi Kazeem, commended Ogunsola for the visit and urged him to continue in his good working.

Also at the event, the Olu of Magboro, His Royal Highness Oba Kazeem Kashimawo Alayande, praised the council chairman for coming at the right time and accoladed him for caring so much for his people.

In his response, Amb. Ogunsola, expressed his gratitude to all the Royal Fathers, for their fatherly role and support to his administration.

He therefore implored them to continue to support the current administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun, so as to take the state to a greater and enviable heights.
