Obafemi-Owode LG Consultative Stakeholders Forum Adjudge Ogunsola Best Performing Council Boss

In continuation with the program lined up for the celebration of two years in office of Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre led administration in Obafemi Owode Local Government, a stakeholders meeting was held to give account of his stewardship and to showcase the projects, programs executed and to know the area of interest to focus on the good working in the Council Area.
The Council Boss stated that, the objective of the meeting is to give thanks to God, presents the scorecard of the council activities in the last seven hundred and thirty days in office and to request from the people the area yet to cover, to get feedback on the programs of government so far and to appreciates everyone that has contributed to the achievements so far.
Ambassador Ogunsola further thanked His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the confidence repose in him to lead the government in obafemi-owode local government Area.
He also appreciated the good people of the Area for voting All Progressive Congress (APC) at the last governorship election in the state.
He then disclosed the release of a Five hundred Tertiary Institution scholarship scheme sponsored by the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON).
He added that the scholarship form will be shared to the qualified sons and daughters of the council area through the Councillors at the wards level, Traditional rulers, Community Developments Association, National Youth Council of Nigeria and Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE).
In his goodwill message, Rt Hon. Tunji Egbetokun, former Speaker, Ogun state House of Assembly adjudged Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, as the best performing chairman; stating that, he is the only council boss who has proved himself through various projects executed across sectors of government in the last two years, out of the 20 local governments in Ogun state.
He also decorated the council helmsman, as the Grand Patron of the National Youths Council of Nigeria and Award of Excellence to Obafemi-Owode local government Youth Council Branch, while the Leader of the legislative Council, Hon. Kehinde Kayode Akinsola was decorated as the Patron.
Subsequently, a press conference was also held at the newly renovated conference room at the council secretariat for the rendering of his stewardship in details, showcasing the projects and programs of his administration, in the last two years, with responses to questions from the journalists.
Dignitaries at the program, included, Oba Taofeek Owolabi, Olu of Obafemi; Mrs. Nike Osoba, Commissioner II, Civil Service Commission; APC leaders amongst others.
