OBAFEMI-OWODE LG EMBARKS ON ANOTHER ROADS REHABILITATION

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi- Owode Local Government, Ambassador Hon. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has continued the rehabilitation of another roads within the Council Area in fulfilment of the promises made to the people, that all roads linking various communities and Wards shall be graded in order to provide easy transportation of farm produce to major markets.

Recently, some roads were massively rehabilitated in December 2021 covering various communities and Wards.

The Chairman reaffirmed that the present administration in Obafemi- Owode local government is highly determined to make sure there is accessibility for motorists and people in the Council Area as no stone will be left unturned in ensuring dividends of democracy are brought to the doorsteps of all.

The Council Boss said “I am a man of my words and I will make sure that all my promises were kept by God’s grace as service is my heritage”

“Amongst the roads rehabilitated were;
MOKOLOKI ASIPA WARD – Asore, Iddo Abonde. OBAFEMI WARD- Igbedu, Olofin Alaha, Ogunseye, Molare. AJEBO WARD–Asingunje, Leemo, Akiode, Amusan, Erinle, Odi, while other wards shall be covered soon” chairman said.

Hon Adesina also stated that, despite the financial position of the local government in recent time, He would not relent in its responsibilities and enjoined the people of the local government to improve in payment of taxes, levies, rates to the coffers of the local government in order to deliver more dividend of democracy.
