Obafemi-Owode LG: Ogunsola Assents 2023 Budget, Promises more Dividend of Democracy

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government of Ogun State, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, has assented to the year 2023 budget, tagged “Budget of Consolidation towards securing our future together”.

According to a release signed by the Council’s director of Information, Prince Segun Soneye, Amb. Ogunsola recalled that, the Budget proposal was presented to the Legislative Arm of the Council on Monday, 27th March, 2023 for approval, which was in earnest and unanimously approved by them.

The Council Boss commended the legislators for their efforts and speedy approval of the Bill into Law.

He also thanked the legislative arm of the council, for keeping to their promises of timeliness and their cooperation at all times.

The Council Chairman, assured the people of the area of the delivery of more dividend of democracy, and affirmed that, more communities would feel the good impact of his administration before the year ends.

Present at the event were: the Vice chairman, Hon. Babatunde Olusesi; Chief Kayode Dipeolu, Secretary to Local Government; Mr Fatai Ogundele, Head of local Government Administration; Members of the Legislative council.

Others are: Supervisor for Information, Mrs Foluke Oluwadare; Supervisor for Community Development, Hon. Risikat Akintayo; Special Adviser on Legislative and Political Matters Hon. Lekan Shittu and Departmental heads of the Local Government amongst Others.
