Obafemi-Owode LG: Ogunsola Charges Amotekun Corps on Security

The Executive Chairman of Obafemi- Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina has charged members of Amotekun Security Corps, in the Council Area to be more active in discharging their duties
The Council boss Stated this, at his office in Obafemi- Owode Local Government Secretariat, while receiving members of the Corps led by its Commander, Oluwaseyi David on Monday 14th Feb, 2022.
Ambassador Ogunsola lauded the action of the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, for being proactive in tackling the security challenges facing the State and Nigeria as a whole which eventually birthed the establishment of the Corps.
He also reminded the Corps of various security challenges facing the local government Area and Ogun State at large which ranges from kidnapping, ritual killings, armed robbery and other vices militating against the growth of democracy.
He therefore urged them to be upright irrespective of the security challenges in the area, “as I believe, those challenges are just for a while” chairman said.
While commending the Amotekun Corp members in beefing up the Security network of the Council Area, he urged them to always acquitted him of their activities at all time.
The Council Boss, then promised them, unflinching support of his administration despite the Council’s limited resources in bringing about a peaceful society.
The commandant, Oluwaseyi David responded by appreciating the Council Chairman, for his pleasant approach especially in the area of security and promised to always put in their best in curbing various security challenges in the Council Area.
