Obafemi-Owode LG: Ogunsola solicits residents co-operation for completion of Mowe/ Ofada road

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has urged the people residing in Mowe and Ofada axis of the Council Area, to cooperate with the Central South Construction Company that will start working in the area.
The Council Boss, made the call during an inspection visit to the site allocated to accommodate plants and machineries for used in constructing the newly approved Mowe/ Ofada road by the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR.
Ambassador Ogunsola explained that the road will ease traffic congestion on the major Lagos/ Ibadan express road and also enhanced the patronage of people doing business along the road as well as everyone using the road .
“I want to commend His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, led administration in Ogun State for approving this road in fulfilling his campaign promises” said Amb. Ogunsola.
The Council Chairman, therefore enjoined all the youths of the area to cooperate, law abiding and be peaceful with with the workers working on the road.
The road site Engineer, Engr. Kaee assured all and sundry that the road will be completed in due course with a good standard.
Earlier, Engr. Babatunde Adesina, Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructures and a former Chairman of the Council, acknowledged the magnanimity of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for embarking on improved infrastructural development in the state.
He then promised that the project will be completed in earnest, most importantly to ease flow of traffic during the ember months.
He therefore enjoined, the residents to cooperate, as the contractor will soon get to the site, within the next one week.
He also sought for the continuous support of the commuters plying the road in order to achieve expected results on the road.
He further called for the utmost support of the people, on the giant strides embarked upon by the Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration on infrastructural development in the state.
He also expressed his appreciation by recognizing the presence of the Community Leaders; Youth Associations; Market men and women; Political functionaries and Religious leaders in attendance.
Also in attendance are; the Vice Chairman, Hon. Olusesi Titus Babatunde; Mr. Kayode Dipeolu, Secretary to Local Government; Sanitarian Adetola, Water and Environmental Sanitation department and the Information crew amongst others.
