Obafemi Owode Local Government Chairman Commiserates With Erunwon  CDA Over Rampant Death of Residents

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina has Commiserated with the residents of New Erunwon Community Development Association in Egbeda ward of the Council Area over rampant death of residents of the Community .

Ambassador Ogunsola also expressed his condolences, on Saturday, 30th September, 2021, while holding meetings with the New Erunwon Community Development Association in obafemi Owode- Local government Area.

Speaking on the reckless driving by trucks in the Area which has resulted to loss of lives and properties, Ambassador Ogunsola, frowned against the activities of the truck drivers that supplies granites to the ongoing railway station in Olokuta axis, states that the manner they drove arbitrarily has resulted into deaths of many people in the Community.

Ambassador Ogunsola then assured the residents that a committee will be set up to look into the matter and immediately it submitted its report, he will table the this issue before the governor and “I can assure you that he will deal with the situation headlong” he added.

Earlier, the Chairman of  Erunwon CDA Comrade Olatunji Oduleye requested for an establishment of modern market in the Community to ease the stress of their people going to town for buying and selling

Comrade Oduleye also appealed for the provision of one polling unit in new Erunwon community in Egbeda ward of the Local government so that their people in the community will not be going extra mile to perform their Civic role during election.

On the entourage of the Council Chairman are: Leader of the House, Hon. Kehinde Akinsola; Councillor representing Egbeda ward, Hon Sunmola Adekunle; Director of works and housing Engr. Dapo Oladeinde; Various Community Leaders in the New Erunwonp CDA, and the Information Crew of Obafemi Owode local government.
