ODEDA LG HOLDS PRAYER TO USHER IN THE NEW YEAR 2022

The Executive Chairman, Odeda Local Government, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo has held an interdenominational prayer session with members of Staff on the first working day of year 2022.

The Prayer session held within the Council Secretariat was organised by the Chairman to appreciate God Almighty for seeing the entire Staff through despite the rough journey of year 2021.

The Council boss, speaking at the event encouraged the staff to embrace peace, love and harmony in order to pave the way for God’s divine mercy.

She also seized the opportunity to charged all Staff to be hardworking in order to generate more revenue to the coffers of the Local Government.

She equally said that she will not condone any act of indicipline from the staff members, while urging them to always be punctual and committed to their various duties.

The NULGE Chairman, Comrade Sholanke Rasheed, in his address thanked the Chairman for the kind gesture extended to all the Staff during the Yuletide period.

He however, pleaded for more of such gestures from the Chairman while pledging that the Staff will continue to give their best to service delivery in the new year especially in the area of revenue generation.

In attendance at the session were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Yaya Nasiru; the Head of Local Government Administration, Miss Olufunke Adeniji; all Departmental Heads, NULGE Executives and Members of Staff.
