Odogbolu LG: Ladejobi Features Live on Radio Program, Eagle F.M 102.5 Ilese -Ijebu Ode

Still in the euphoria of celebrating two years in office, the Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government of Ogun State, Hon. Ladejobi Shuaib, featured live @ Eagle F.m 102.5, llese -Ijebu, on Thursday, 21st September, 2023, and discussed intensively on his achievements within 2 years in office.

The council helsman, explained to the general public through the Radio program about the laudable achievements his administration has recorded since assumption of office with the support of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, the Executive Governor of Ogun State.

Ladejobi stated that, he was able to achieve all these underlisted projects through regular disbursement of Local Government allocations by the State Government and the Internally Generated Revenue within the Local Government.

He also highlighted all his projects as listed:

1. Construction of a New Blocks of two Classrooms with an office, Sick Bay and Store at St. Francis Primary School, Ibefun, ward 9.

2. Construction of Health Centre at Ala Community, Ward 12.

3. Completion of lkoto Health Centre with Aluminum window, plumbing and tilling at Ward 11.

4. Construction of Water work projects at Adefisan Ward 11.

5. Grading of several Community roads within the following Areas;
1. Iperin / Odoyanta Community Ward 1.

2. Imaweje -Ogbo Community Ward 15.

3. Elshadai road, off Ejinrin Road, Ward 11.

4. Okun-Owa-Ijebu- Ijesha, Ward 3.

5. Imaka Community, off Epe Express Ward.

Educational programme was not left out;
Back to school programme was initiated. Some educational materials were distributed to pupils, like School uniforms, Chairs, desks, Maker boards and branded exercise books, all these were done to reduce the financial burden on parents.

Furthermore, he enumerated his achievements in Health sectors. He also discussed the benefits enjoyed by the public from the government in terms of good health programmes, these included;

1. Regular supplies of drugs to Heath Centres.

2. Essentials like bedspreads were freely distributed to all Primary Health Centres in the Local Government Area.

3. Deworming of school children between the Ages of 5 -14 years across the Local Government Area.

4. Empowerment programme to Youths of Odogbolu Local Government through skills acquisitions.

5. Ogun State Government paid 40percent Peculiar allowance to Civil Servants in Ogun State, this was aimed to cushion the effect of economic hardship of fuel subsidy removal.

Director of Community, Mrs. Folasade Fasola and Director of Finance & Supplies, Mrs. Kemi Mafe.
