Odogbolu LG: Ladejobi Lays Foundation Of Market Open Stalls In Aiyepe And Odogbolu

Promises made, promises kept, in a bid to fulfill his electioneering promises, the Executive Chairman, Odogbolu Local Government of Ogun State, Hon. Ladejobi Shuaib, ensured that his administration was fully committed to utilizing all efforts within available resources in developing the markets in the council area, to an enviable standard for the betterment of his people.
Hon. Shuaib also appreciated His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State, for giving the local Government necessary support to live up to it’s expectations.
Speaking further during the foundation laying of the Aiyepe and Odogbolu market Open Stalls on Wednesday, 27th December, 2023, the Council Boss, reeled out some of the laudable projects achieved by his administration which included: Ilubirin – Aiyepe drainage of 800 meters both left and right side; construction of Ikoto health centre; construction of health centre at Ala, ward 12; construction of a block of 2 classrooms with an office, sickbay and store at St. Francis Primary School in Ikangba; completion of ikoto Health centre; grading of several roads in iperin / Odoyanta, Imaweje- Ogbo Communities, Elishadai road, Okun Owa and Imaka amongst others.
He also assured the people of Aiyepe and Odogbolu Communities that the construction of the 30 open stalls and 12 Lock -up shops, 12 detached open stalls respectively will boost the incomes of the people as well as improve their living standard
Earlier in his remarks the market leader of Aiyepe town (Babaloja), Chief Wale Lamina lauded the Council Chairman for deeming it fit to construct a market for them in Aiyepe while Iyaloja General Odogbolu, Chief (Mrs) Muyibat Adebanjo appreciated the Executive Chairman for the project in Odogbolu market.
Present at the event were: Vice Chairman Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. Iretiolu Adenugba; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Olamide Fasola; Supervisor for Special duties, Hon. Azees Akinwande; Supervisor for Works, Hon. Olusada Rahmon, Consultant to the Chairman on Works & Security, Hon. Oshikoya.
Others are: Alakan of Ilakan, Oba Musibau Oseni; Olowu of Odolowu, Oba Abdul- Wasiu Sobowale; Oba Ibukun Adewale; representative of Obiri of Aiyepe, Mr. Sunday Taiwo; Babaloja, Chief Wale Lamina; Iyaloja General, Odogbolu Local Government, Chief (Mrs) Muyibat Adebanjo; Iyaloja Odogbolu, Mrs. Taiwo Sotubo and High Chief Olukayode Odunuga.
