OGUN GETS NEW COMMISSIONER OF

The Ogun State Police Command has gotten new Commissioner of Police, DAILY POST reports.

The new Commissioner of Police is CP Olanrewaju Bankole Sikiru.

Sikiru’s redeployment to Ogun command followed the retirement of CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun, who clocked 60 years on Thursday.

According to a police wireless message dated DTO:060930/10/2021, from the Force Headquarters, Abuja, Sikiru was directed to report to Ogun State with immediate effect.

The police wireless message with reference number: TH.5361/FS/FHQ/ABJ/V.7/725, read: “INGENPOL (Inspector General of Police) has ordered the posting of COMPOL Lanre Bankole Sikiru to CP OGS. Posting is with immediate effect please.”
