
Ogun LGSC Holds Prayer Sessions To Usher In The New Year

The Permanent Secretary, Local Government Service Commission, (LGSC), Dr. Adeolu Oluseun Olufowobi led other Directors, Assistant Directors and the entire staff in an Interdenominational Prayer Sessions, to usher in the New Year 2022.
The Prayer sessions, which was held on the second working day in the new year at the Conference room of the Commission at Oke-mosan, had Mr Musbaudeen Awosanya (M.S. dept.) leading the Muslim session while, the Christian session was handled by Pastor Jide Somotun of the P.P.& T dept.
While welcoming the staff into the prayer meeting for the year, the Director, Management Services, Mr Olalekan Oderinde, FCA, admonished that the management considered it important to hold such a programme in a bid to appreciate God for seeing the entire staff through and also to charged them on what is expected of them in the new year.
The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Olufowobi, who represented the Commissioner, Ms Olubukunola Onabanjo, at the gathering commended the staff for showing competence and demonstration of loyalty throughout the out gone year.
He therefore reiterated that, they still needed to continually imbibe the culture of dedication to duty, commitment, professionalism, as well as being a good ambassador of the Commission at all times.
The PS specially appreciated the Commission’s Chairman, Ms. Olubukunola Onabanjo, the Honourable Commissioners, Directors, Assistant Directors and staff for their cooperation and support since he was inaugurated as the Permanent Secretary and prayed that, year 2022 will be beneficial and prosperous for everyone.
Meanwhile, series of Songs of Praises were rendered to the Almighty God in appreciating the wonderful job He has been doing in the lives of every member of the Commission.
