Ogun NLC Chairman Pays Courtesy Visit to INEC Resident Commissioner

The NLC Chairman, Ogun State Council Comrade Emmanuel Bankole and his team has paid a courtesy visit to the new INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in his office, on Thursday, 20th October, 2022,
Comrade Bankole, made known to the Hon. Commissioner that, Ogun state Labour Movement would like to be carried along and be well informed about the use of the New Technology, (IVED), that has just been introduced for the 2023 general elections.
In his response, the INEC Resident Commissioner, Mr Niyi Ijalaye, appreciated the courtesy visit made by the labour union Executives and eulogized the NLC chairman.
He also honoured the NLC State Chairman, Comrade Bankole, with an Award and implored the Labour Movement to vote wisely base on their conscience not because of tribe or religion.
He added that, all we need is to unite as a country, to choose the right person, who can lead the Country to greater heights.
He encouraged the labour union leaders to be a preacher of the good news, saying, all votes in the 2023 Election will count.
In attendance were the INEC administrative secretary, Ven. Steven Akinropo Ojewande and Heads of Departments.
