Ogun NUJ Engages House of Representatives Candidates Ahead of Remo Federal Constituency By-Election

The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) will host a special engagement series with candidates contesting the upcoming by-election for the Remo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
According to a Press Statement released by the Council’s Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, the event which was designed to provide a platform for open dialogue between the candidates and members of the public, as well as to promote issue-based campaigns ahead of the polls has been scheduled as follows:

Barrister Solomon Oluwasheyi-Oso
Candidate, African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Wednesday, 6th August 2025
Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole
Candidate, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
Thursday, 7th August 2025
Princess Adesola Elegbeji
Candidate, All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Venue is the Olusegun Osoba Hall, Iwe Iroyin House, Okelewo, Abeokuta and slated for 4:00 PM daily.
The statement read further that, their participation is to enrich public understanding and contribute meaningfully to issue – based campaigning during this critical electoral period
