The Chatered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria has conferred a fellowship award on the Director-general of Ogun State Bureau of Public Procurement, Dr. Fasasi Adesina Olanloye.

The Award which was conferred during the Batch B Induction and Awards of the Institute held at the National Merit House, Aguiyi Ironsi way, Maitama Abuja on Saturday 28th August, 2021.

Dr. Adesina Olanloye before the conferment was appointed as the pioneer Director-General of Ogun State Bureau of Public Procurement by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, Executive Governor of Ogun State in 2020.

Until his appointment, he was the Director of Posting, Promotion and Transfer of the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission. Dr. Adesina Olanloye who joined the Local Government Service as an Agriculture Officer in 1991 rose to the pinnacle in the Local Government Service when he was appointed Head of Local Government Administration in 2015.

Before joining the Public Service, the DG had worked in the Banking Sector with United Bank for Africa PLC as well as the downstream sector with General Oil in the late 80s and early 90s.

Dr. Olanloye who holds a Doctorate Degree in Agricultural Economics is an Academic with many years of experience, an accomplished Farmer, as well as a Seasoned Administrator who is also proving to be an astute doyen of  Purchasing and Supply Management.
