OGUN STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE COMMISSION HOLDS SERVICE WEEK

The management of Ogun state local government service commission, LGSC, has again been applauded for their show of excellence and administrative prowess in the discharge Of their statutory functions of managing career officers
Making the applause was the chairman Ijebu East local government, Hon. Adetutu Oyesanya in his office at Ogbere.
The chairman spoke glowingly of Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo, chairman LGSC as an astute administrator, this according to the council chairman was evident in the achievements of the commission.
Hon Adetutu Oyesanya, appreciated the programme packaged for the local government service week, stating that, not only will it be an avenue to exchange pleasantries with love but it will also showcase the rich talent among service personnel in a more relax environment.
She added that, the service week will be an opportunity to recognize and reward officers that distinguished themselves in the discharge of their duties
Highlights of the Ogun local government service week with the theme ‘renewed local government service’, hold from Friday 10th November to Thursday 16th November. on Friday November 10th by 7.45am, the commission will feature on New dawn programme on OGTV, followed by Jumat service at Federal secretariat central mosque, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
On Sunday 12th November at 10am, there will be a thanksgiving service at St. Sebastian catholic church, Bonojo, Ijebu ode. While on Monday 13th November by 10am, medical outreach/charity programme at Family Health Centre, oke ilewo, Abeokuta; Leslie Health Centre, Ilaro; Italapo Health Centre, Ijebu Ode and Makun Health Centre, Sagamu.
On Tuesday 14th November 2023 by 10am, public lecture at Obas’ complex, Governor’s office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta. Also on Wednesday 15th November 2023, by 9am, there will be road show from service commission to Abeokuta south local government, Ake, and back to the service commission, Oke-Mosan. By 2pm there will novelty match between male political functionaries/career staff vs female political functionaries/career staff at the MKO Abiola international stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.
The week long events will be rounded off on Thursday November 16th, 2023, with a red carpet at DLK events center Abeokuta and followed by Gala night/award of excellence at the same DLK events center.
