Ogun State Ministry of Local Govt and Chieftaincy Affairs Applauds ASLG on Infrastructural Development

The Ogun State Ministry of Local Govt and Chieftaincy Affairs on Monday 18th October, 2021, embarked on an assessment tour of projects within ASLG Area of the State.

The Executive Chairman of the Council Hon Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi JP while welcoming the team expressed his appreciation to the Executive Governor of the State Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, for his unrelentless efforts in ensuring that the dividends of democracy get to all the nooks and crannies of the State.

Hon Majekodunmi said part of his responsibilities as the Executive Chairman of the Local Government is to work in tandem with the State Government in order to fulfil electoral promises made by the present administration and also to protect the interest of the public as well as to build their confidence in the Government.

Hon Majekodunmi however appreciated the people of the local government Area for paying taxes promptly. He however appealed for more tolerance and cooperation to ensure smooth delivery of dividends of democracy.

Mr. Kamil Olaleye, the Director, Inspectorate and Monitoring Department of the Ministry,  who led the assessment team commended the Local Government for a job well done. He expressed satisfaction that the projects were well supervised and assessed.
