Ogun SUBEB bids Olufemi Ilori-Oduntan farewell, describes her as Peace lover

The Chairman, Ogun State Universal Board, Chief (Dr.) Femi Majekodunmi has described former Permanent member III, Honourable Olufemi Ilori-Oduntan, who has just been appointed by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, as Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs.
The statement was made during the send-forth programme organised by the Board members on Tuesday, 27th September, 2022 at SUBEB secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Recounting the cordial relationship that existed between the board members, top management and members of Staff that was established within shortest period Olufemi spent in the board, the chairman said “I must say that we are all happy to see her progressing, moving to higher level, our loss to Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs is gain, she has been a daughter in real sense and lover of peace” Majekodunmi added.
In the same vein, Mr. Segun Talabi who spoke on behalf of other directors in the board appreciated the new Commissioner, Olufemi for using her beauty and brain for the progress and development of the board. “she is a God fearing person, a woman like a man, doing things rightly whose character is worthy of emulation.
In a swift reaction, the Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Honourable Olufemi Ilori-Oduntan expressed her profound gratitude to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, for given her the opportunity to serve the masses.
She also praised members of the Board for making her stay in office a memorable one. She equally appreciated all members of Board and Staff for the love extended to her within the shortest period.
Olufemi later charged members to be diligent in discharging their duties and be more dedicated while on duty in order to move SUBEB to the next level. “You should work as a team and shun criticism” Commissioner added.
The programme have in attendance, the permanent secretary, Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Dr. Olurotimi Akinlesi; directors from the Ministry, Permanent member I and II, board directors amongst others.
