
Ogun Teacher Recognized Among Global Top 50, Honored as State Education Ambassador

Kayode Adewale, a mathematics teacher at Imagbon/Imaka Comprehensive High School, has been celebrated as one of the Top 50 teachers globally in the prestigious Global Teacher Prize.
An alumnus of Tai Solarin University of Education, Kayode’s innovative teaching methods and commitment to education have brought him both local and international recognition.
In recognition of his exceptional achievements, the Ogun State Government has named Kayode as the Ogun State Education Ambassador. Governor Dapo Abiodun announced a series of rewards, including a bungalow in any location of his choice within the state and a cash prize of ₦5,000,000.
Governor Abiodun praised Kayode’s dedication, describing his success as a testament to years of hard work, humility, and focus. He commended Kayode for serving as a role model to educators across Ogun State and beyond, while emphasizing the state’s commitment to celebrating excellence in education.
