OGUN WATER SIDE LG: HON MUDASHIR EMBARKS ON MORE DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS ACROSS COUNCIL AREA

Following the subsided of rains, and the need to prepare for the Yuletide season, the Executive Chairman, Ogun Waterside Local Government, Alhaji Hon. Mudashir Abdul-Lateef Adekunle has graciously approved the commencement of grading of all rural as well as township roads across the length and breath of the council area and other developmental projects.

According to a release signed by the Council’s Director of Information, Olanrewaju Daud Martins, this was contained in a memo signed, by the Local Government, Head of Works and Housing Department, Engr. O. A Majekodunmi, who noted that, now is the season they have been waiting for, for the commencement of the massive grading of the council area, as it could not be achieved during the rainy season.

Engr. Majekodunmi, assured that the government has finalized all agreements to tackle the grading headlong and that the project had commenced with the clearing of road verges at both sizes from Iwopin Town en route J4 junction in a bid to pave way for the motorists and other road users who might want to transport goods and services.

On his part, the Council Chairman, Hon. Mudashir said  apart from the grading of roads, the administration is also embarking on the installation of another set of 500 units of Solar lights with galvanized pipes having successfully installed 120 units in the first phase to illuminate the entire local government area, after many years of darkness as a result of handiwork of the desecrators.

He stressed further that, his administration will also rehabilitate the Health Centre at Ita Ogun, St. Mathias Primary School, Ilushin, as well as rehabilitation of the Council’s Secretariat at Abigi.

The Council Boss then used the medium to appreciate His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Ogun State Governor for supporting his administration financially and morally since its inception till date. While noting that all the projects aforementioned are made possible through his magnanimity and the grace of God.

He reiterated that all the projects will be completed before the end of first quarter of 2024.
