OGUNSOLA INSPECTS GRADING OF ROADS, VISITS BAALE ADESANOLU AND PROMISES MORE DIVIDENDS OF DEMOCRACY

In fulfillment of the promise made during the electioneering campaign of the present administration of Obafemi Owode Local government, the Executive Chairman of the Council Area, Ambassador Adesina Ogunsola has commenced an inspection tour of on-going grading of roads at Adesanolu Community and it’s environs in Ofada Ward.

He said this will enabled the people of the area to feel the impact of the government, adding that, the condition of the road has become an eye-sore before their emergence.

The Council boss also paid homage to the Baale of Adesanolu Community, High Chief Tajudeen Adesanolu, where he reiterated that during his tenure of office, the Local government will continue to bring dividends of democracy to the door steps of the people.

while addressing the Chairmen of Community Development Council (CDC) and Community Development Association, CDA, Ambassador Ogunsola, called for their maximum support, stressing that, Ofada is one of the largest Communities closer to Lagos state.

He then appealed to them not to relent in their efforts by prompt remitting of their internally generated revenue and other levies to the coffers of the Local government in order to  assist the Council in making meaningful impart to the life of its citizens.

 

Responding on behalf of the CDC, the Adesanolu CDC Chairman, Mr Gafar Adeyemi applauded the Council boss for fulfilling his promise in making their Community the first place of contact within five month of his administration despite the short of funds in the Council Area.

He further stated that, it will be recorded in the history of the entire Adesanolu Community, being the first time they will feel the impact of the Local government with the grading of the road.

Meanwhile, one of the CDC Chairmen in the Area and the Consultant to the Council Chairman, Engr Adeleke also commended Ambassador Ogunsola led administration, stating, that, within five months had made tremendous efforts in reaching out to the grassroots in terms of dividends of democracy as earlier promised during his electioneering campaign.

The Council boss then promised to station additional grader to the existing one due to the wideness of Adesanolu Community at large.

Present at the inspection tour are the Leader of the Legislative House, Hon Kayode Akinsola; Hon. Emmanuel Adeola, Councillor representing Ofada Ward 2; HOLGA, Mr Fatai Ogundele; Engr. B.K. Alalade, Director Works and Housing and the Information crew of the Local government.
