OSADARE EMERGES AS NEW YEWA SOUTH LOCAL GOVT NULGE BRANCH CHAIRMAN

Comrade Osadare Babatunde Olusoji of the SOLUTION TEAM has emerged as the New Branch Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employee, NULGE, Yewa South Local Government.

The election that was thought would be volatile was held under the peaceful atmosphere, attracted union leaders and people from the adjoining Local Governments besieging the council’s secretariat, Ilaro, as early as possible to canvasse votes for their preferred candidates.

After the rigorous proceedings of the election, Comrade Osadare Babatunde Olusoji was elected as the Nulge Branch Chairman with SOLUTION TEAM having an overwhelming victory, sweeping all the elected positions except for the post of the Treasurer which was won by comrade Yetunde Ogunsola of the ACTION GROUP.

Immediately, after the swearing-in of the newly elected exco, the New Chairman, Comrade Osadare described the election as free and fair, thanked the Nulge officials from the State for their transparency in the conduct of the election.

He also gave kudos to the Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaji A. T. Olusesi who stood like a rock of gibraltar to prevent any ugly incidence.

Comrade Osadare, equally thanked members of staff for the massive support given to him before, during and after the election, promising that he would not let them down.

Meanwhile, Comrade Ademola Odugbemi, the other chairmanship aspirant has congratulated the New Nulge Chairman  while wishing him the very best as he paddles the Canoe of the Union of Yewa South Local Government to a safety shore.

Comrade Odugbemi also took time to appreciate members  for their support and commended them for the display of maturity during and after the election.

While speaking with the information crew of Yewa South Local Government after the election, the immediate past Caretaker Chairman (NULGE), Comrade Ogundipe S. O. (JP) thanked God for the success of the election and commended the fatherly role of the HOLGA, who is also a former Ogun State Nulge President, Senior Comrade Tajudeen Olusesi, who brought his wealth of experience to bear in ensuring that the election was devoid of any rancour.

Comrade Ogundipe, therefore, counselled the Newly elected Nulge Chairman to be magnanimous in victory and to others, to be gallant in defeat.

Alhaji Tajudeen Olusesi applauded the Nulge Officials from the State for a job well done and gave an advice to the victorious team that moderation must be their watch word in their victory celebration.

Thereafter, the jubilant members of staff moved the celebration train to ALADE HOTEL where they wined and dined together.
