The National Executive Council of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) under the leadership of the National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, has described as cheering, the elevation of NPF number 1 Parrot and National Secretary of the PCRC, Olumuyiwa Adejobi to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).

Reacting to the joyful news as released on thursday 20th July, 2023, in Abuja by the Police Service Commission (PSC), in a Press Release signed by the Commission’s Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani during her 21st Plenary Meeting, the number 1 PCRC member in Nigeria, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, commended the Commission for upholding the practice of rewarding excellence and outstanding performances, which have formed the yardstick for recent promotions of Senior Police Officers (SPOs)

The face of PCRC in Nigeria lauded the appointment of AIG Mathew Akinyosola, AIG Abiodun Sylvester Alabi, as DIGs respectively and the promotion of Inspector Mohammed Aminu to the next rank of ASP 1, for his highly professional display in the face of provocation by one Mr Seun Kuti, son of Nigeria’s late afro beat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

He thanked the Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Egbetokun, who he described as a passionate lover of hard work, diligence and commitment, for his unflinching support for the Police Public Relations Department headed by the former CSP now ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.

Alhaji Olaniyan wished all the newly promoted Officers nationwide, the very best and acknowledged the painstaking workings at the Police Service Commission (PSC) under the leadership of former IGP Solomon Arase Rtd., with the trust that, the ongoing tradition of timely and deserved reward for service through promotions will ginger productivity, good service delivery and also aid professional conduct.
