Redeployment of DIGs, AIGs, CPs: PCRC National Headquarters Congratulates Redeployed Senior Officers, Lauds IGP on Competence Based Postings

The National Working Committee of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), ably led by the dutiful National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan, has expressed high level optimism on the ability of the newly posted Senior Police Officers across different Commands, Formations and Departments of the country to build on the impressive achievements of their respective predecessors in all ramifications.

According to a release signed by cComrade Kunle Sodipo, the SSA Media and Publicity, Office of the PCRC National Chairman, the highly elated number one PCRC member in Nigeria, thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, for his competence based postings of Senior Police Officers across the country since his emergency as Nigeria’s 21st Inspector General of Police in February 2021, and upon confirmation by the Police Council on Friday June 4, 2021.

He also congratulated the newly posted DIG Department of Operations, AIG Adeleke A. Bode; new DIG Department of Training and Development, AIG Hafiz M. Inuwa mni; DIG Department of Department of Research and Planning, AIG Aji A. Janja mni; new Force Secretary, AIG Habu Sani Ahmadu and the new AIG in charge of Force Intelligence Bureau, Force Headquarters, AIG Shuay’u Lafia Abdulyari.

The highly energetic, Alhaji Olaniyan the Mogaji Fosunpaja of Ibadan Land praised the deployment of  CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi as the new AIG Zone 2 Command, Onikan Lagos; CP Mathew Akinyosola, mni, as AIG Police Mobile Force; CP Jonathan Towuru, mni, as AIG Zone 6 Calabar; CP Akande Sikiru Kayode as AIG Zone 11 Osogbo; CP Abimbola Adebola Shokoya as AIG Zone 17 Akure; CP Frank Mba as new CP Ogun State Command; CP Idowu Owohunwa as CP Lagos State Command; CP Adebola Hamzat, fdc, as CP Adamawa State Command; CP Suleiman A. Yusuf, mni, as CP Taraba State Command and CP Faleye E.S. Olaleye as CP Ebonyi State.

He therefore called on all PCRC Formations nationwide to build upon the cordial and meaningfully working relationships already established with predecessors of all newly posted SPOs, to further consolidate on the highly productive synergy maximally required for effective Community Policing.
