
Retirement: Colleagues, Friends and Associates, Celebrate Oderinde on Friday

All roads will on Friday, 30th September, 2022, lead to Abeokuta, as colleagues, friends, and associates, converge on the State capital, to celebrate one of theirs; Olalekan Oderinde, who retires meritoriously from the Ogun State Local Government Service.
Oderinde who is the Director, Management Services at the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission, retires from active service as he attains the sixty years mandatory retirement age, on the 4th of October, 2022.
As part of activities celebrating his successful landing and heroic exit from the local government service, a befitting retirement programme has been organized to hold in his honour at a popular event centre at Abeokuta on Friday.
The event which starts by 10am according to the invite released by the planning committee, will have in attendance, his family members, important dignitaries and colleagues across the twenty local governments of Ogun State.
As well as, well-wishers, friends and associates from the Ogun State Public Service, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Abeokuta Sports Club, and the Nigeria Football Supporters Club.
Oderinde, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, joined the local government service of Ogun State as an Accountant, and served variously as Auditor, Treasurer and Director of Finance and Supply, before his appointment as Head of Local Government Administration.
He has diligently served at local governments within the four geopolitical zones of the state, namely, Remo, Ijebu, Yewa, and Egba.
A very articulate mentor and highly cerebral resource person, he was formerly the Director, Manpower Development and Training, at the Local Government Service Commission, Ogun State.
