Road Rehabilitation: Obafemi-Owode LG Chairman Commends Governor Abiodun on Siun-Owode, Mowe, Ofada roads

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode local government, Ambassador Ogunsola Adesina Lanre has commended the Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, mfr, on rehabilitation and construction of roads going on, across the Council Area.
The Chairman ably represented by Hon. Adijat Akintunde, the supervisor for Women affairs and Community development, applauded the Governor on his commitment and declaration that work should commenced with speedy completion on Siun- Owode, Mowe, Ofada roads, all in the Council Area.
Ambassador Ogunsola gave this commendation on Wednesday while monitoring the ongoing construction of roads within the Council area .
Ambassador Ogunsola also stated that , the gesture will reduce stress on motorists and commuters passing through the roads, most especially people going to Siun-Owode, Mowe, Ofada axis, as it will equally serves as an alternate road during traffic lock jam on Lagos -Abeokuta express road.
The chairman further stressed that market men and women will benefit a lot, as it will ease the transportation of their farm produce, goods and services to various market places.
He then appealed to all sons and daughters of the council area to continue to support Prince Dapo Abiodun agenda on road infrastructures.
In the same vein, the Olu of Owode, HRM, Oba Kolawole Aremu Sowemimo, who also accompanied the council boss in monitoring the ongoing construction of Siun-Owode, Mowe, Ofada roads, expressed his profound gratitude to the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for the quick intervention on ofada road, which he said, has been neglected for the past eighteen years.
Like oliver twist, the Monarch appealed to the governor to come to their aid in restoring electricity back to Owode Egba and its suburb in order to bring more dividends of democracy to Obafemi Owode Local Government area and its environs.
Some of the dignitaries at the inspection tour included: APC Party exco members; Olu of Owode Council Chiefs; Chairman, Road Transport Workers Union, Owode-Ofada branch, Comrade Ganiu Adejumo and the Council Information Crew.
