In recognition of the unprecedented development cutting across the 10 wards in Ewekoro Local Government witnessed under the Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa led administration, the management of ROOTSWATCH MAGAZINE has shortlisted the executive chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa amongst notable chairmen in the country for the prestigious national award.

Hon Adesina’s nomination was not on a platter of gold but purely based on his tremendous efforts in transforming Ewekoro Local Government amongst the best in the comity of local governments in Nigeria.

Ranging from educational sector, Infrastructural development, empowerment, road gradings, health sector and many more.

Hon Adesina had left no stone unturned in transforming the council area by changing the narrative story of Ewekoro Local Government in less than two years.

Some of the projects executed by Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa led administration are :

Construction of modern lock up shops across the major markets in the council area.

Comprehensive renovation of moribund block of three classrooms at Baptist Day Primary School, Agbon; Provision of desks and benches for pupils in primary schools.

Printing of customized exercise books for pupils across the council area.

Scholarship award for the council indigents and non indigene students to study at Owu College Of Management and Technology, Wasimi.

Turning the council’s conference room to a five star; Cash empowerment for women and and youths; Renovation of many health centres.

Drilling of boreholes in areas that are in dire need of water; Regular grading of roads; Regular supply of drugs to the health centres.

Comprehensive renovation of moribund council’s grader and
Prompt Staff welfare.

Without mincing words, the man of the people whose achievements have been touted to be marvelous and unmatched deserves to clinch the coveted awards in the land.
