Christians all over the world have been charged to amend their ways and be in right tune with God, their creator, in order to inherit His kingdom which is the greatest profit for all faithful christians.

The charge was given by Pastor David Adeniyi Dahunsi, the resident pastor of God Is Able Covenant Mission Inc, Ita oshin, Abeokuta, in his sermon, titled ,  “What is your profit ?” during the Sunday service at the church auditorium.

Pastor Dahunsi emphasized that, heaven is the ultimate goal of all christians, and as such, christians must do away from worldly things and embrace spiritual things to enable them to end in the glorious home, called heaven, after their sojourn on earth.

The clergy man reiterated the need for christians to focus on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of their faith, in all their dealings.

” When you focus too much on people, you tend to lose goodies by being blindfolded with things of the world at the expense of everlasting profit of God”, Pastor Dahunsi stated.

He, however, stressed that christians should desist from doing God’s work with the mind of receiving reward but rather do it as a matter of service and the good and faithful God would reward them accordingly.

His words, “I know whom I am serving, I have been walking with him for so long and He has never failed me and never owe anybody who serves him thoroughly”, he explained.

Citing the case of Tabitha (Act 9:36-43), a woman who was full of good works and alms deeds but sick and died.

However, as a result of her good deeds, people sought the help of Apostle Peter that the woman must not die and she was revived and reaped her good deeds.

Pastor Dahunsi, then urged people to do good and ensure they share their God given assets with the downtrodden, not neglecting the needy in their vicinity because there will certainly be a day of reckoning when each and everyone would give account of their deeds on earth.

He therefore, concluded the sermon by calling on all and sundry to ensure that they engage in God’s work in order to reap bountiful harvest here on earth and the greatest profit which is the inheritance of everlasting joyous life in heaven.
